Omkar Dahibavkar is an independent artist, producer and composer from Mumbai, India. First known as Dubstep Mechanical Omkar, he built his early identity around emotional piano melodies, heavy bass design and aggressive electronic production. In 2026, Omkar began a new chapter focused on Marathi lofi, experimental remixes and modern reinterpretations of familiar Marathi music.
Omkar Dahibavkar began producing bass music at the age of 16 under the name Dubstep Mechanical Omkar. His early sound combined acoustic piano with heavy growls, screeches and Dubstep drops, earning support from artists including Bassjackers, KSHMR, twoloud and DJ BL3ND. Around 2013, he became associated with UnrealSound, while influences from Monstercat, Skor and Panic helped shape his melodic approach to electronic music. Over time, Omkar expanded beyond Dubstep and, in 2026, began bringing his production experience into Marathi music through lofi interpretations, DJ-style productions, devotional reinterpretations and experimental remixes.
During his early electronic-music era, Omkar's work received support from established international artists who helped encourage the development of his sound.
